Henry Thomas, revered for his iconic role in E.T. and his chilling performance in The Haunting of Hill House, is set to star in ESX Entertainment's upcoming horror flick, The Necklace. This exclusive information was obtained by Deadline.
The film, directed by Juan Pablo Arias Muñoz, boasts a dynamic ensemble that includes sisters Madeleine & Violet McGraw, from M3GAN and The Black Phone respectively. The cast also features Sarah Lind, Felix Solis, Jacob Moran, Christina Moore, and Brynne Kurland.
Screenwriter John Ducey, notable for his work on A Hollywood Christmas and That's Amor, is the creative force behind the movie's script.
Set in the tumultuous year of 1960, the film follows the trials and tribulations of the Davis family. Laura Davis, separated from her alcoholic and temperamental husband Frank, returns to her nursing career while her daughters, 11-year-old Ellen (Violet McGraw) and 16-year-old Judy (Madeleine McGraw), struggle to come to terms with the shift in their family dynamics. The story takes a spine-chilling turn when Frank tries to win Laura back with a beautiful antique necklace. Unbeknownst to them, the necklace serves as a conduit for the tormented soul of an evil boy from the distant past. Now, Laura and her daughters find themselves in the crosshairs of this supernatural danger.
